Initially established in 2020 as an initiative led by English Premier League, AFC Bournemouth, midfielder and United States Men’s National Team captain, Tyler Adams (Wappingers Falls, New York), the Hudson Valley Hammers are dedicated to the growth of soccer at the grassroots level by introducing young players to 'the beautiful game' by granting access and promoting awareness of a higher standard of play.

Kicking off in the Spring of 2022, the Hudson Valley Hammers joined the prestigious United Soccer League (USL) League Two, a member of the 4th division of the US Soccer pyramid.

The Hudson Valley Hammers are committed to the long term development of soccer in the Hudson Valley and beyond, adhering to training objectives to promote the advancement of the game through appropriate technical, tactical, physical and psychological training methods, along with providing the highest level of competition available, both at the youth and pro-development levels.

• Provide the Mid-Hudson Valley and its surrounding areas an affordable and enjoyable environment for families in a professional setting.
• Offer players the opportunity to continue to cultivate their talent in a competitive training environment.
• Offer a proven pathway to professional soccer to its players, both at the elite collegiate level and the top academy-age players in the greater Hudson Valley region.
